If you are looking to make a tattoo appointment or chat about a tattoo the we hope these following steps will help you.
We will include everything you need to know in order to make the process as simple and easy as we can. However, if you have any further questions then we will also put contact details below.
We generally have a bit of a waiting list and only take on work we feel comfortable in doing as we believe it is only fair to the customers. We tend to open my diary every 3-4 months, the reasons for this are numerous but the two most important reasons are quality control and efficiency.
The quality of the tattoo you get is my main priority, closing our books allows us to focus on and filter in a select number of clients at a time and sure they’re happy with there tattoos. We can focus solely on making art and tattooing. No emails, no phone calls, no consultations, no distractions. It ensures that if you require an extra appointment or need to reschedule at all the longest you would have to wait is 3 months. And as ancillary bonus, the closed book system works great to filter out those who are impatient, cantankerous who cant wait a few days for an email reply, surely are not the type of people who can wait months to start a project that can sometimes take months or in few cases years to finish.
We are a very relaxed studio so we prefer easy going clientele and if thats you we sincerely thank you for your understanding and kindness.
2. THE TATTOO DESIGN
Do you have your tattoo design and ideas ready?
If you do, you can Facebook them to me under my business page 'Jonjo grant tattoo artist' if its over my personal facebook account I'm fraid they will be ignored.
Anyway please send the images across along with the following details (email address is below with the rest of my contact details, sometimes I am extremely busy and may not be able to reply every day so I would appreciate your patience.
- What size will it be? (either in cm or inches)
- Where on your body do you want the tattoo to go?
- Is it in black and grey or colour?
I will then give you a final quote for the piece and a quote for the deposit which will secure your appointment with the tattoo studio once you have booked in, the deposit amount goes towards the final price of the tattoo, so you will only have the remaining balance left to pay on the day.
If you're after a day session with me my working hours are 11-5pm, in the case that the tattoo is unfinished I may be able to stay on an additional couple of hours at a reduced hourly rate of £50 an hour if applied on the same day of the appointment.
Are you unsure of the design?
Thats no problem, sometimes we just need to brainstorm a bit. Mail me a description of what you would like and any ideas/pictures you have collected and we will go from there...
IMPORTANT - THE TATTOO WILL NOT BE DESIGNED UNTIL AN APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN MADE WITH A FULL DEPOSIT
3. MAKING A BOOKING AND TAKING DEPOSITS
Please mail me on the LINK below if you would like an appointment and I will send you all the relevant details you need in order to make the booking and how to get to the studio for your appointment. I do not have a card machine at the studio so the remaining fee will have to be paid in cash on the day of the tattoo.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT 7 DAYS NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN TO CHANGE OR CANCEL A BOOKING. IF YOU CONTACT ME TO CHANGE OR CANCEL A BOOKING WITH LESS THAN 7 DAYS NOTICE FROM YOUR APPOINTMENT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THIS TO ENSURE IT IS FAIR FOR ALL CLIENTS.
